Seedling Exams BOOK REVIEW

Title: Seedling Exams
Series: Glitterwings Academy (#8)
Author: Titania Woods

 My Review:

This is Twink Flutterby's final term of her second year, time for her Seedling Exams. She wants to follow in her parent's footsteps and be a Fairy Medic. She must pass her Creature Kindness exam to take one step to becoming a Fairy Medic. But when she is given an angry starling with a broken wing to look after, how will she ever pass her exam?

I think that this is an interesting book because I wanted to see if Twink and the starling become friends. My favourite part is when Twink gets to be friends with the starling because it was a challenge for Twink and she had to use lots of different methods.

Warrior Cats: Into the Wild BOOK REVIEW

Title: Into The Wild (Warrior Cats #1)
Author: Erin Hunter

My Review:

Rusty is an ordinary house cat, who was one day brave enough to venture into the forest. He meets some wild cats who live in Clans, and he is asked to join Thunder Clan. There are four clans of warrior cats in the forest, Wind Clan, River Clan, Thunder Clan and Shadow Clan. Rusty gets given an apprentice name, Firepaw, by Bluestar, the Thunder Clan leader and he starts to train as a warrior cat.

I think that this is an exciting book because it is interesting to see how Firepaw is doing in Thunder Clan. My favourite character is Firepaw because he is brave and intelligent. My favourite part was the battle at the end because I can't wait to see who wins.

The next book in the series is: Fire and Ice

Interesting Things About Warrior Cats

  • Apprentice names end with "paw"  example:Firepaw, Greypaw, Rainpaw
  • Warrior names end with anything the leader chooses  example: Dustpelt, Mousefur, Sandstorm
  • Leader names end with "star"  example:Bluestar and receive nine lives from Star Clan, their warrior ancestors
  • The Warrior Cats series is my favourite book series!
